The Pear Garden in the West: the American Chinese Opera and Performing Arts Center of San Francisco contained 12 groups with over 100 performers ranging from Chinese Opera to Ballet and Jazz. It revived the old Opera tradition and puppet theatre and helped found a new children's ballet and dance drama.
